Afterschool Program

 
 

Our After-school program provides a safe place Monday thru Thursday,  for K thru 8th-grade students free of charge.  After-school pick-up is provided for students attending, Mertz, Hall, Lienkauf, Craighead, Council, Calloway-Smith, and Dunbar Middle to the park. 

They receive tutoring and help with their homework from certified teachers and teachers’ aides.  A nutritious meal is provided daily by Feeding the Gulf Coast Child’s Nutrition Program.

The Summer Enrichment program helps students retain what they learned during school during our morning tutoring program. The afternoon provides fun-filled activities that include crafts, sports, swimming, gardening on the grounds and weekly trips to the library, and fun-filled field trips.
